SKILLED NURSING AND
REHABILITATION SERVICES

SKILLED NURSING CARE is a special program of remotivation and rehabilitation requiring the supervision of a registered nurse, 24-hours a day. In most instances, residents requiring this level of care are making the transition from hospitalization and may require different types of therapy to restore movement, speech or daily living functions.

SUB-ACUTE SERVICES constitute a higher level of skilled service including intravenous therapy, central lines, wound care therapy, all rehabilitative services and respiratory therapy.

LONG TERM CARE provides professional nursing and therapy for chronically ill or permanently disabled individuals. Residents at this level can often take care of many or all of their routine activities, yet typically require assistance with medical treatments, medication, and maintenance therapy programs.
